The Big Day

Saturday...  the "Big Day" dawns crisp and clear. Ben did an incredible job of locating caterers for the Rehearsal dinner as well as brunch for this morning and Sunday. We are at least 30 minutes off a paved road and the nearest town is Winchester, VA.  Ben found Winchester Bagels, a former New Yorker bagel maker who made and delivered fresh baked bagels each morning with all the NY fixen's as well as fruit and other breakfast and lunch goodies.
Remember that campfire many attended last night into the wee hours of this morning? Most family and guests if not all, excepting grandparents were there and those young folk in the wedding party are responsible for wedding camp maintenance and set-up . As we linger over coffee at the Pavilion picnic tables in picture above awaiting our morning feast... we see those poor lads and lassies converting a baseball field into a lawn party complete with sofas made out of bales of hay and tablecloths; setting up the outdoor bar and gazebo for guests to enjoy post wedding while wedding photos are being taken. Jason and Karina thought of... everything then worked their backside of making it happen with the help of their attendants, parents and family. Thanks, you'al!!!
Refreshed with coffee and our wonderful meal, we retire to our cabin to shower, curl my hair, paint my face and dress for the 2:30 wedding.... the ring bearer, Lucas and Flower Girl, Olivia are all ready with times to laugh it up. Where's everybody?
It's time... Jason and his best men ring the bell to call all to gather for the nuptials...
Ben and Faith walk Jason down the asile and... Here comes the beautiful bride...
Jason and Karina Exchange Vows under the Chuppah Nanny worked on for 2 years...
A wonderful tradition, the "Binding" of the bride and groom by parents and grandparents. The officiate then braids the bindings together to create a life-time bond...
No worries, bindings are now made permanent on their hearts so hands and arms can be freed to hold one another close for the first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Gershowitz...

Lawn Party for guests while photographs take the Wedding pictures coming up next...
