2009... DC Teems Visit

Irv and I meander north to Jason's graduation in NY... visited the DC Teems on the way up and back. What an amazing family... so busy!!! We were there for Mother's Day... first church then rush home for Caleb's baseball practice and Owen's birthday party across DC from each other at the same time (1pm), of course. But what a treat... Grandma and Grandpa got to spend quality time with granddaughter, Madeleine, just us... such a grown-up 9 year old. After the boys were collected, we headed out to the Cheesecake Factory for a delicious Mother's Day dinner. On the way south through DC we attended the children's elementary school spring festival (Lafayette Elementary, the public school Obama looked at for his girls)we had a great time and a multi-cultural lunch... excellent cuisine. Quick... hurry home and change for Caleb's baseball game on Capitol Hill. After the game we headed back to our Koa campground near Annapolis just in time for their Saturday night Ice Cream Social. Oh boy!!!Thanks to God for being able to be with our children and grandchildren.
