Saturday dawns...
Irv has already gone in to Marathon to get a few groceries to last until Monday or so. Pulling the car behind the RV does not lend itself to being able to park at just any shopping center for groceries. We look for Super Wal-marts with the big parking lots catering to RV's.
It's mid-morning for Irv already as a shelf fell in the bathroom at 4am and woke him but he turned on the TV and behold Billy Mays was on advertising Super Putty... you know, call now and get 3 for the same price! Irv called!!! We decided it was something we needed because we can't use nails or screws to put anything up in the RV so have been using this permanent (?) stickum' stuff. That's what was holding the small shelf that fell. We have been looking for Billy May's ad for weeks and it wasn't on but Irv saw it this morning and I saw it last night around midnight, took the number and planned to call this morning. He beat me to it as usual!
Again, I'm easing into the day with my coffee as I write a little on our blog. Susie is right beside me looking at the screen and meowing for her morning massage. I have to get going with putting chairs, rugs, etc. in the RV basement and/or car as the temperature at 1pm will be 97 degrees with isolated thunder storms to cool us off. Until last Sunday, we hadn't seen rain in the day since we arrrived on April 5th. The high in Hot-lanta, GA is 87 degrees.
