Wow! I looked at my last post and it was June 2nd way back in Bushnell, Florida.
Tuesday, June 3rd: Our next stop was in a great, little campground in Tifton, GA. Irv and I noticed this area has a motel/hotel and restaurants on every available piece of land on I-75. We couldn't figure out why and the manager of the campground had no idea either. Whatever as Irv would say! There was a huge anuall RV Rally in Perry, GA the first of April which is 1-15 miles north of Tifton. Anyway, Irv decided to get the coach washed before we left Tifton for Atlanta on June 4th so he decided to detach the PT Cruiser from the trailer hitch tonight. He came inside with the "look" on his face again that means something is wrong. The right arm (facing the front of the car) was bent. On the way down to the Keys, Irv tried to make a U-Turn but had to back up which is a NO-NO with the hitch/car attached. There was a tear to the rubber flexible hitch arm cover but Irv put Duct Tape on it. The coach hit the car so we'll have to have a very small amount of body work done before winter. We were told by Blue Ox who makes the hitch that it was unsafe to pull the car so Irv drove the RV and I drove the car to GA. It was only 200 mile+/- to Michael's house so after a sustaining breakfast/lunch at Cracker Barrel, it was no big deal.
